Infant Day Care
The staff of Foundations Preschool Toledo and Early Education Center is trained in all areas of an infant's development. Teachers support and encourage the ages and stages of infant development with creativity and nurturing. We believe that each child is an individual and his/her child care and education should be personalized as such. Children as young as 6 weeks are exposed to a developmentally appropriate program, incorporating hands-on learning experiences guided by the interests of the child. Each infant is assigned to a primary caregiver who plans activities unique to his/her interests and abilities.
Toddler Day Care
Children from 18 months of age through their 3rd birthday are provided a day care environment rich in activity, language and developmentally appropriate experiences each day. Teachers plan activities and events around themes and the children's interests. Each day both group and individual play and growth experiences are offered. The toddler room is rich in language. Self help skills are practiced and encouraged daily. Toddlers learn to be a part of, and to participate within, a group.
Preschool Day Care
Foundations Preschool Toledo Early Education Center provides the traditional preschool experience within the convenience of a child care facility. Our preschool is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to accommodate children with working parents. We will prepare your child for Kindergarten. Our preschool curriculum is structured to include a morning rich in activities and planned learning experiences based on all of the domains of a child's development including; Language, Cognitive, Social/Emotional, Fine and Gross Motor. Afternoons while more casual are academic as well. Children are exposed to developmental concepts which lay the foundation in areas such as; Math, Science, Society and Social Awareness, Health, Self Help Skills, Literacy, Shapes, Colors, Music/Arts, and the like.
